At Redland Bay State School, our Year 5 and Year 6 students are encouraged to bring their own device to school for learning. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) supports the delivery of 21st century learning. It enhances the learning process and prepares students for future studies and careers.​

Students have a wide range of opportunities to use their device throughout the year.  It encourages student engagement through the use of multimedia task​ and projects.  Please refer to the 2025 BYOD Information Booklet.pdf​​​ for more specific program information.​

BYOx Link​

BYOx Link is the departments solution for student personal devices to connect to the school network.  It is a safe and secure system utilising the power of Microsoft InTune.  This system allows schools to provide services to students including but not limited to; filtered internet, printers, network folders and school purchased applications if required.  For more information on BYOxLink or InTune please refer to InTune Parent Frequently Asked Questions Fact Sheet.

Microsoft Office 365 apps

For Microsoft Office iPad apps please download them directly from the Apple App Store for free.

For BYOD students these apps will be signed into as part of the network  connection at the start of the year.  For MacOS & Windows computers please follow the instructions under the Microsoft Office 365.​
